On Thursday, March 13th, specific measures were announced to limit the impact of COVID-19 on our community. Following through with measures asking to cancel events for crowds of more than 250 people, GPBC will be cancelling our spring concert, our upcoming choir trip to Vancouver and we may have to cancel our Symphony and Singing Concert in May.
We’re really disappointed.
If you had purchased tickets to this event, you will receive an email next week which will give you the option to refund the ticket or donate your ticket purchase to the choir in return for a charitable tax receipt.
This is a difficult time, particularly for small arts organizations like ours that operate on narrow margins and rely on your support and generosity to thrive. We ask that you consider donating the value of your ticket as a means of supporting the choir at this time. Your donations are so important to us, and we’re incredibly thankful.
